I love Ingrid...

A few days back I watched the movie, 'Casablanca' for the seventh time. I always prefer a good romantic comedy or a classy love story over any other type of movies. And that 'coz watching a romantic comedy gives me an insight into one of my favourite subjects - Relationships. Needless to say, 'Casablanca' tells one of the best love stories ever portrayed on screen and I hope there are no arguments to that. But that's not the reason I watch it over and over again. It's for the sheer pleasure of watching Ingrid Bergman, one of the most beautiful ladies ever to have appeared on screen. I know there could be arguments to that statement. But when has beauty been a constant or universal factor, especially when it comes to the beauty of a woman? Perceptions differ and I consider Ingrid to be the epitome of feminine beauty. Now, I'm not going to fill this post describing the beauty of Ingrid. I already did that in a poem that I wrote on the same day of watching that movie. Hence I'd like to take your attention to that poetry -  Oh! I lost her in Casablanca. Please click on the title of the poem and it'll take you to my other blog which has the poem.

And while surfing for a pic. of Ingrid, I stumbled on a blog post which I loved for two reasons - It talked about Ingrid Bergman and her life and also 'coz it talked about a most relevant subject - Breast Cancer. I'd request you all to pay a visit to that post - Famous Survivors.... Part One in Series: Ingrid Bergman by Gina Maisano, New York, United States.

I remember watching Casablanca and being completely captivated by the story, the loss of love, and that immortal line, "Here's lookin' at ya, kid." I commented on the poem on your other blog.

And, I hope that you can come down and check out this latest post of mine:
